Special Guest - Academy Award nominated screenwriter, David Magee David Magee is currently the Jane and Terry Semel Chair in Screenwriting at Emerson College. Most recently, David was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Life of Pi for which he won the Satellite Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. In addition, David wrote the screenplay for Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008) and the Academy Award nominated screenplay Finding Neverland (2004).
